Couple ObservesGolden WeddingBIGFORK—Mr. and Mrs. Ron Pierce and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Pierce hosted an open house at the Ron Pierce home in Bigfork, for their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evert Pierce, also of Bigfork, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.Assisting at the reception were the honored couple's grandchildren, Rhonda, Shari Lee, and Jim Bob Pierce; Mr. Frances Kriebs, Missoula, sister of Evert Pierce; Miss Lillian Tubb and Mrs. Robert Croskrey.The four-tiered cake decorated with yellow roses and white chrysanthemums was baked by Mr. Florence Anderson of Bigfork and was a girt from Mis. Kriebs.Attending the reception were many friends and relatives from Kalispell and Bigfork. Out of town guests included the couple’s grandson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Waring, Mike and Janet of Great Falls, and Mrs. Kriebs.Throughout the weekend, the Pierces received phone calls from California, Oregon, Nevada and Washington, from friends and relatives who were unable to attend the cejebration.
