J. H. Tatman has filed a complaint against the Beck boys for obstructing the sidewalk. He claims that the stairway leading into Eli Bass’ barber shop, is an obstruction and wants it abolished. He has also filed a complaint against John 8. Wilson, charging him with obstructing the alley with a stairway leading to the rooms over Joe Conner’s saloon. These cases are supposed to be brought by Mr. Tatman in retaliation against these gentlemen who he thinks were the chief agitators of the famous bee ordinance.
