Brooks.Clarence Larimer, who was injured quite badly in Greenville over a week ago by being thrown from a load of ties, is improving slowly.Miss Evelyn Loper was an over Sunday guest of!' her cousin, Walter Dunn, near Geneva.'Madison Turner and family moved last week to the Mrs. Margaret Turner farm in Deer Creek township.There were 15 out of the 24 who passed the eighth grade examination which was held in the Sheakleyville school building on Saturday,Mary Corney of the Sheakleyville school passed with an average of 92 percent, the highest in the class.Miss Mninie McCracken, teacher of the primary room here, closed a very successful term on Friday last. The entertainment given by the pupils on the last day was greatly enjoyed by the patrons and friends present.
