Mr. C. F. Jessen, in charge of the begiDners grades 1, 2, and 3, in St. Peter’s Parochial school, is a most successful and popular primary teacher. Pastor Noack says the recent examination of Mr. Jessen’s pupils, surprised all who heard it. The testimony of all is, they never heard such young children so prompt and correct in their answers in all their studies. Over fealf of his pupils were promoted to higher grades and now he has 49 pupils, 30 of whom are little tots just starting. They love their teacher and call him mother. Visitors are always welcome to any department of St. Peter’s Parochial schools.
