Meanwhile, in his first varsity baseball game, Shawn Boyer pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the save. The senior also drove in a pair ofruns.Sam Anderson’s two-out RBI single was the big hit in Wilmington’s two-run second inning, while Paul Allen’s two-run doubleignited a three-run third.Josh Mollenkopf had a two-run single as Mohawk made the game close with a three-run outburst in the bottom of the third.Losing pitcher Don Esenwein pitched a complete game, allowing just five hits while strikingout 10.
