Bradley-BatesMattie H. Bradley and Arthur Bradley Jr. of Aiken announce the engagement of their daughter, Brenda Anita, to Marion Bates Jr. of Aiken, a son of Marion Bates and the late Lillie Mae Bates.The wedding is planned for April 29 in the Willcox Inn in Aiken.The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of the late Ida and Joseph Hollomon and a paternal granddaughter of the late Sarah and Arthur Bradley Sr.She is a graduate of Martha Schofield High of Aiken and attended South Carolina State College. She is employed with Du Pont.The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of the late Minnie and Arthur Wimberly and a paternal grandson of the late Frances and Frank Bates.He is a graduate of Hempstead High School and attended Lincoln University in Oxford, Pa. He is the owner of Take One Video Productions.
