i Reception is Given Honor*ing Mr. ond Mrs. Lawrence HullMr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hull, of {jig Spring, were honored at a surprise reception, feting their golden! wedding anniversary, Sunday,March 24.During that day, many friends and relatives were received by the couple, who have been engaged in farming for the entire period of their married life, and are still enjoying good health.Refreshments were served during the day from a table, which was beautifully decorated with yel-| low jonquils and gold tapers, centered with a large three-tier cake ! trimmed in gold and white, corresponding with the color scheme used in table appointments.The following friends and relatives were present to celebrate the occasion with Mr. and Mrs. Hull: the Rev. and Mrs, Luther Hare, Mr, and Mrs. Paul Shank, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hull, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Beyard, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gossard and son, Donnie, Mr, and Mrs. Lee Stallings and son, Dickie, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hull and son, Bobbie, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hull and son, Jimmie. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hull and sou, Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Shirk, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ferns-uer, Mrs. Virginia Hull, and the Misses Lucy and Lonzie Hull, Jane: Shirk, Pearl Shank, Helene and Ruth Shank, Helen Smith, Zella Beard, and the Messrs. LeRoy and Hillard Shank, Walter Carbaugh, Walter Malcolm, Leroy Robinson, Fred Hull and Lelloy Hose.One grandson. Harry Beyard was unable to attend, as he is serving in (lie armed forces.The couple were the recipients of many lovely gifts.
