David Porter at Westport Sunday enroute from Jeffersonville.Mrs. Ira Edwards returned to her home at New Point Saturday and is reported progressing slowly. She has been a patient at Methodist hospital, Indianapolis.Mr. and Mrs. William Gilchrist and sons, Billy and Denny, who have been in Brooklyn, N. Y., have arrived here and are with her mother, Mrs. Pansy Reed. Mr. Gilchrist has received his release from the service.Mr. and Mrs. David C. Martin, of Indianapolis, are the parents of a son born Friday at St. Francis hospital. He has been named Eric Alter. Mrs. Martin is the former Mary Alter, of St. Paul.Quentin Luther is now located at Aiken, S. C., 1817 Croft street, Crosland Park, and is with the atomic energy commission, Sa-; vannah. River plant, having been transferred there from Newport, j Ind. He formerly lived at Rockville. Mr. Luther is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Luther, of Adams.. Mrs. L. H. Scripture has returned home after three weeks visit' with Mr. and Mrs. Percy Speed and family- at Lexington,; Ky., Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Scripture and family at Louisville, Ky., and Miss Naomi Kirk at New Albany. Mrs. Scripture recently* returned from six months vis|t with her daughter, Mrs. Robin Meek, and family at Albuquerque, N. Mex.
