J “Uncle Hilly Jumper, while engaged in tearing down an old barn in the north part of town Friday, gave a hard jerk on a studding from which a long nail protruded. The studding gave way unexpectedly and struck him with great foroe. The nail was driven in an upward course far into the forehead, glancing upward. In this condition he came near bleeding to death before found by members of his family. Dr. J. L. Puckett was called and dressed the injury. The wound is a very painful one, but not necessarily dangerous.
