-........-....... jFrom Mr. Cox it was learned that certain letters had passed between Mrs. Martin and States Attorney Sloan. Investigation into their contents leads to the conclusion that Kolrert Martin has become a bigamist, having married again at Lau-renceburg, Anderson Co., Ky. Whether this can be borne out is not yet known. Certain it is that Martin has virtually abandoned the wife and children of his young manhood and that a poor, forlorn and destitute woman and her five children are thrown upon a charitable public for their means of subsistence. iThe public is spared the trying details of the naked, suffering and destitute condition of this family. Besides the rags partly covering their bodies, a piU-AC dip held all their clothing, the cupboard was bare, and so the Hour, the house and the heads and feet of nearly all the children.
