50th Wedding AnniversaiyOn Saturday, February 23rd, 1985 relatives and friends gathered at the home of Mr, and Mrs. John Gryba for a Come and Go Tea to honor them on their 50th Wedding Anniversay.A family supper followed.John and Mabel were married in The Pas, on February 24th, 1935. atwhich time John worked for the C.N.R. They resided in The Pas during the wintersand in the summers lived at various locations along the Hudson Bay Railroad. In 1943 they left The Pas to take up farming in White Beach, SK. In 1948 thcvmoved to the farm in Big Woodv Manitoba wherewthey resided with their son Martin.John and Mabel were blessed with seven children - Nestor (son) and Renate, children Thomas and Kimberly of Edmonton, AB.. Martin (son) residing at home. Eugene (son) of Calgary, AB., Dave and Natalie (daughter) Trebick, children Sharleen, Joanne, Co-rinne and Law rence of Tad-more, SK.. Bert and Mary (daughter) Jenner, children Sharon and Vernon of Swan River, MB., Lawrence and Julie (daughter) Chrun. children Zenia, Micheal and Kenny of Cudworth, SK. Bill and Angie (daughter) Saseniuk, children Vincent and Vanessa of Swan River. MB.Out ot town guests came from Winnipeg, Dauphin, Ethelbert, Garland, Pine River, Roblin, Cudworth, SK.. Kamsack, SK., and Saskatoon. SK.
