Celebrated GoldenWedding AnniversaryOn Tuesday, March 26, the fiftieth anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bruce was celebrated in their farm home 6 miles northeast of Moville.So numerous were the greeting cards and presents that the mail carrier made a special tiip from Kingsley the evening before and brought more the next day.Andrew Bruce and Margaret Mc-Quistan were married at Odebolt, Iowa, on March 26, 1885. Five years later they moved to SchaiierLand^w** ‘ ^ county, wherethe have resided since.Mr. Bruce was born in Delaware county, Iowa, and Mrs. Bruce was born at Campbelltown, Argyleshire, Scotland, and came to America with her parents when she was ten years old.The four children, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren were present at the celebration. The children are: Mrs. Stuart Mor-i gan, Moville; Edward, at home; Mrs. (Lillian Badgerovr, Kingsley; Mrs.; Margaret Lehner, Kingsley.\ In the afternoon many friends called to extend good wishes.Mr. and Mrs. urxxce arp appreciative of the kindness shown them and feel deeply grateful for the many expressions of goodwill.
