c8li1St Olaf, la—Special: Mr. and | tMrs. Fred Vogt were surprised attheir home near here Tuesday evening when a number of relatives and friends gathered to help celebratetheir silver wedding anniversary.During the tore part of the evening the guests were entertained with cards. Progressive five hundred jj was played at 19 tables. When scores were counted high honors were awarded to Mrs. John Vogt and ? B Lawrence Schmidt, consolation go-' a ing to Amo Schmidt and Delbert j t Brletsprecher. H ^ Iaac*4S3At 11 o’clock the celebrants en-11 tered the living room to the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march, played by Mrs* Carl Stiehl. A selection, Love Me,” was sung by Mrs. Glen-dor Hamann and Mrs. Carl Stiehl, after which the mock marriage ceremony was performed by Reuben Ray-ment. The bride was attended by Dorothy Nelson and Fern Stiehl. Arlene Nelson and llo Mae Stiehl were flower girls: and Jean Schmidt waa ring bearer. The bridegroom was at-.i tended by Milton and Lorraine Ha-11 maun. At the close of the ceremony 11Clifford Nelson presented the cou- [ cpie with gifts.Following the ceremony the bridal Jparty and guests were served a £ luncheon.
