All of herchildren with the exception of Mrs. N'orman Mitchell of Muncie were pres-enU together with a number of thegrandchildren and great grandchildren.The affair also celebrated the birth- i ( day anniversary of her daughter, Mrs. Nicholas McGregor, who arrived as apresent for her mother upon her thirtieth birthday anniversary.A 6:30 o’clock four course dinnerwas served by Mrs. Kinney and Mrs. Lane, the features of which were thebirthday cakes. The one for Mrs.Darrin bore seventeen flags, one for each five years of her life. Two handsome bouquets which had been presented the ladies decorated the dining table.At the conclusion of the dinner aflash light of the group was takenand the remainder of the evening spent in a social way. Mrs. Darrinwho was very ill for several weeks during the winter has recovered herhealth and was as gay as any of herchildren.1 Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Malcom McGregor and Mrs. W. 11.i Lane of Kalamazoo; Mrs. NicholasMcGregor, Mr. and Mrs. C.
