CELEBRATE GOLDENMr* And Mrs, William Eckhardt Observo Golden Wedding Ann!-• tversary Sunday.A company of forty relatives, children and grandchildren gathered at the William Eckhardt home Sunday to assist Mr. and Mrs. Eckhardt in the celebration, of their fifieth wedding anniversary which fell on Saturday* All of their ten children were among those present*A covered dish dinner was served -at noon, and a large anniversary cake was the centerpiece for the table.Mr, and Mrs. Eckhardt were given $50 in gold by their children and relatives and a parlor lamp by BrimhallBros., byt whom Mr. Eckhardt is employed. ,Those present from out of town I were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nuese and^ family, Mr. D. G, Wolken and August Frieboth, of Dillion, and Mrs. August Wilkening Turman, of Minnesota.Mr. and Mrs. Eckhardt were married at Hinckley, 111., March 20, 1876. Both were born in Germany. They came to the French Grove neighborhood forty-nine years ago and movedto State Center twelve years ago. The children are Mrs. Fred Nuese, of Dillion; Mrs. Albert Henze, Mrs. Henry Henze, M!rs. Ella. Guthman, Mrs. Alva Hutson, Mrs. Albert Hall, Mrs. Wilbert Hall, Mrs. Will Probst, William, Jr., and Miss Lizzie Eckhardt, all of State Center. There are forty-three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
