Former Residents To Note 53rd AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Henry H. Johnston, of Neponset, former Galva residents, will quietly observe their 53rd wedding anniversary Saturday, March 26, at their^^Senry H. Johnston and Mary M. Emery were united in marriage March 26, 1902, at the Congregational parsonagein Galva, with Rev. H. K. Painter officiating. Mrs. Johnston's grandparentsand parents were among Galva s earliest residents. ‘ _ ,The Johnstons resided in Galva for several years and he was in partnership with Frank Pratt Sr. in the operation of a hardware store.
