Their five sons and four daughter®, less one who was ill, came in upon them unawares with their families just about noon. The daughters and daughters-in-law took possession of the* kitchen and dining table and served a most sumptuous dinner, after which a suitable address for the occasion was delivered by the Rev. D. W. Thompson, of Clark's Mills, and on behalf of the family, presented Mr. Yeager and wife with a pair of gold spectacles each, in memory of the occasion to which they both responded with 1 hanks and prayer was offered.Mr. and Mis, Yeager came to the vicinity of Clark's Mills 45 years ago, clearing up the farm on which they now live, and are well to-do, having won the confidence and esteem of the community at large. They are prominent members of the Methodist church of Clark’s Mills, and have been for 42 years. Mr. Yeager has been class leader lor 27 years.Guest.
