Norman and Susan Berg, lifelong residents of the Bessemer area, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in February at the Westgate Living Centre, Ironwood, where both are residing. The couple was married at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bessemer on Feb. 23, 1929. Pictured with the Bergs are their three children. They are, from left — Marjorie Koeckritz of Elm Grove, Wis., Joyce Chellew of Alma Center, Wis., and James of Wauwatosa, Wis. They also have 11 grandchildren and 17great-grandchildren.
