Long-Time Ruidosoan Mac Osborne DiesMac Ob borne, 88, a Ruidoso resident for the past 27 years, died Thursday, March II in a Roswell Rest Home following a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 16, at 10 a.m. in the Ruidoso Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Joyce officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn C emetery in Rui-tioso with Clarke’s Chapel of Roses in charge of arrangements.Osborne was born in Bell County, Texas on Aug. 29, 1885. He moved to Ruidoso in 1947 from Kalis Texas. He was a retired machinist. The years he lived in Ruidoso he was engaged in the saw-.'harpening busi-ness and raised vegetables andflowei s at his home across from School House Hark, lie is survived by his wife Lillie.Pallbearers included Sid Cour-velie, Odie Courvelle, John Montgomery, Dan Storm, BillAlli'n and Charlie Sorimzcr.
