Cardwells to celebrateMr. and Mrs. Roy Cardwell. 1107 N. Slate St., Marion, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.They were married March 29, 1918. Mrs. Cardwell ia the former Fannie Sanders. Her husband is a retired coal miner.The Cardwells have two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Schroad-er of Elgin and Mrs. Lloyd McKinney of Rt. 3, Marion: four grandchildren. Joe Gulley and Marilyn McKinney of Marion; Mrs. William Holmes of Creal Springs and Mrs. Edward Krantz of Marion; and eight Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cardwell (Dunning's) great-grandchildren.
