Old Ingleside Landmark RazedBy Mrs. Zelma ShriderThe “castle” is no more. A famous landmark, built in 1929, at the entrance to Ingleside Cove, has been razed. Boeckle, late parents of Mrs. Joe Mircovich Sr., of the cove.Standing like a sentinel, its height reared against the onslaughts of wind and tide, the old house has long been a point of interest for home-folks and visitors alike. Now, because of the insecurity of its stairways the long-famous building has been tom down.Mrs. Mircovich, who resides with her family at the cove, told the story of the unusual structure.
