The weekly sportsmen and amateur events at Bowman Cray Stadium in Winston-Salem will open April16 while the Champion Speedway will he the scene ofweekly sportsmen and amateur races on Friday nights, beginning April 8. The Greensboro Fairgrounds will be opened April 9 and the Hickory and Raleigh tracks open April 16. Other tracks throughout the state have already had their opening dates. Joining this list of weekly races will be special events staged at the finest tracks in the state.
