Prescott Unit Will Be CheckedPRESCOTT, Mar. 21 —Federal inspection of Company M, loStn Infantry, an annual event, will be lt;held at the national guard armory • here Monday night by Maj. Charles:« M. Ankcorn. senior instructor forj the Colorado National Guard, according to Capt. Harry L. Mayfield, ■ company commander. _The inspection this year, Captain Mayfield said, “will he especially dose, due to intensive training carried on during the last few months, following the president's declaration of a limited emergency. Since that time, and until only recently, the number of company drills has been doubled and the Arizona National Guard has had a special field training period of seven days.”Officers of the local machine-gun company, in addition to Captain Mavfield, are First Lt. Floyd L. Theobald, supply officer, and Second Lt. James H. Carpenter, administrative and recruiting officer., Albert M. Evans is first sergeant! and Sgts. Gail McLain and Albert Maloy are platoon officers.
