Sparks of 515 Benton street of this city will be pleased to learn of a happy event which occurred recently in Los Angeles,California.It was the occasion of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Sparks’ marriage which took place at the Methodist parsonage in Boone, March 14. j1872.Mr. and Mrs. Sparks are spending the winter in the southland at the home of their son, J. N Sparks and his wife, who will he remembered in Boone as Nina Hutchison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L Hutchison of North Story street. To this home came the relatives, former Boone county neighbors, and friends, to offer their congrat-lla ns, and well wish* to takr the hand of a couple whom God has honored by such a long and happy married life.Those in attendance were as follows:
