Sparks of 515 Benton street of this city will be pleased to learn of a happy event which occurred recently in Los Angeles, California.It was the occasion of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Sparks’ marriage which took place at the Methodist parsonage in Boone. Sparks and his wife, who will be remembered in Boone as Nina Hutchison.daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. The sons are Charles I., formerly county attorn j of Boone county, later judge of the district court of Kansas, twice elected to office as representative of the 6th Dist. of Kansas. residing in Goodland, Kar is; A W. retired mail carrier, of this city; J. N„ at whose home the cel ebration took place; George A., Los Angeles; Lawrence B., farmerof Boone county; Mrs. Dr. Goor-te R Janies of Casper, Wyoming. The relatives and friends came with-*camehearts filled with love and affection and arms filled with God’s handiwork in the form of beautiful and fragrant flowers which they placed in the arms of the bride of 65 years, as they offered their congratulations and well wishes tothis worthy couple.
