C. F. Jessen, wlio bus taught Itasca German sciiool the past six years, moved to Arlington Heights Tuesday. Aiuch regret is beiug voiced by his many friends here, who were auxious tor him to remain, but, as he says, for tlie betterment and promotion in his line of teaching. We can only say godspeed and may his lines he cast in as pleasant places as they were during uis residence here, llis last weeks of teaching here were very trying ones, and beset by many sad emotions from both scholars and teacher. Their affection for their teacher was almost parental in reverence and very touching on leavetakiug. There was not a dry eye among them; all gave vent to their leeliugs in a llood ot tears.
