Mr. Robert McBamey, ol Jackson township, Huatingdoncouaby, a staunch Douio-crab and experienced business man, has removed with liis family to this city, loca-iug at' the corner of Savoutk avenue and Fifth street, Mr. McBurney has just retired from the mercantile* business, in which he embarked about twenty-eight years ago and is now open for an engagement as bookkeeper or in any kindred capacity. We welcome him to the city and to the Altoona Democracy, and hope ho will live long and prosper.—Altoona Tima, We will add to the above that Mr. McBurney is a quiet, honest upright citizen—a man that will be a .credit to any community—and though sorry to have him leaye old Maulingclon, he has our best wishes for success.
