B. J. Sheagren Returned From Search for Body of Walter Correll.Body Found Near Quincy Was Not Correll—Searchers AbandonEfforts Yesterday.B. J. Sheagren, of this city, has returned home after a vain quest down the river to obtain clews concerning? the finding of the body of his brother-in-law, Walter Correll, who was drowned two weeks ago near Big Island.Information reached the relatives of Correll that a body had been found below Quincy and Mr. Sheagren at once departed to ascertain if it could be that of Walter Correll. The remains however, were discovered to be that of one of two men who were drowned near La Grange by their boat being capsized by floating ice.Yesterday the search for Correll’a body was abandoned after being continued without interruption since theday of the tragedy. Every possible effort was put forth to recover the body and the last few days dynamite wan used in the hope of bringing it to the surface. The reward of $50.00 offered by Correll’s father for the recovery of the remains, still holds good, and all fishermen along the river have been notified to keep a sharp lookout for the body.
