The Cabin Creek Health Assn, got the go-ahead Mon day for construction of a com munity center at Dawes. The Kanawha County Com mission announced receipt of $70,000 in federal revenue sharing money to match local funds designated for the pro ject. The health association, a non-profit corporation, also is building a medical clinic adja cent to the center at a cost of $439,000.The center is to be constructed on and leased by the health association for 100 years. The commssioners also ap proved payment of $5,096 to Lone Star Paving Co. Inc., of Scott Depot, for work done in 1974 at the county's Dunbar voting machine warehouse and for rock placed on a road at the county's western land fill.
