Celebrates 94th AnniversaryA birthday party was given recently at the Monroe County Home by Mrs. Lawton Watson in honor of Mrs. Ann Eliza Kemp, one of Key West’s oldest residents who was celebrating her94th birthday anniversary.Mrs. Julia Nelson gave a reading and there were several vocal selections rendered by Mrs. Flora Michael, Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Charles Seymour, all of which were enjoyed by those present.Mrs. Watson then read herI I s I • 4 ^ v r4 . 2 _ ^birthday cards and everyone joined in singing “Happy Birthday’' to Mrs. Kemp.Delicious refreshments were served, consisting of ice cream and cake.Those attending, beside the County Home inmates, were: Mrs. Dalbert Bethel, matron, and her husband; Mrs. . Flora Michael, Mrs. Charles Seymour, Mrs. Claudia Demeritt, Mrs. Rhodes Baker, Mrs. Percy Roberts, Mrs. Texas Hood, Mrs. Bertha McConnell, Mrs. Julia Nelson, Mrs. Lawton Watson and Kathleen Snodgras.
