Montrose VolunteerFire Department IsReorganizedMontrose, Iowa, March 15.—The volunteer fire department was reorganized recently and the following officers were elected: Thomas P.Knobbs, chief; Keeler Horne, assistant chief; William Knobbs. secretary and treasurer. The members are:J. A. Wagoner, R. P. Allen, FrankKerr, Floyd Jemlson. Sam Mitchell, Harold Wagoner, Guy Eads. Edward Wagoner, and C. R. Clingman honorary members.The funeral services for Charles ANen, a prominent citizen who died March 11, were held from the M. E. church Monday afternoon, interment being in the Montrose cemetery. M. of which the deceased was a member.A two-act play, “Aaron Boggs, Freshman/’ will be given Thursday evening. March 1C, at the school hall by the pupils of the eighth grade, under the supervision of the teacher,Mrs. Bertha Killingsworth. Time ofplaying is about two hours and thirty minutes. There will ho specialties between acts.
