They have j f ten living children ali of whom were present but their son Phillip and family. They have five children. The posterity of Mr. aud 31 rs. Watson numbers 43 grandchildren and one great grandchild. T. Watson and wife 8 children; T Khamy and wife, 3 children; John Gearhart and wife, 6 children; X. Dimon and wife, 8 children;G. Mansfield aud wife, 5 children; S. Morris and wife, 3 children: T. Watson aud wife; B. Kennedy and wife 4 children. The following friends were present: D. Fullmer, wife and family;E. Gaylord and MUinie Blanchard; H.T. Kieinhen, wife aud daughter, Luly.A sumptious feast being in readiness bearing evidence of the s^ iil and ability of the cook and strength of the tables, feasting became the order of the day and when all had vanquished comfort by their vigorous attack onthe good things, there was still enough left for another charge, but none were willing to renew the attack Afrcr dinner the aged couple took sea s i i the parlor and were there presented to each, a handsome pair of gold spectacles, a gift from their children, .After a few well timed words from the father, music and song followed and the pleasant gathering ended with many good wishes to the aged couple.
