He was the stepfather of DeborahPoe of Independence.His survivors also include his wife, Lenora Brendel of the home; a daughter, Betty Lou Milner, Castle Rock, Colo.; three stepsons, Robert Couch, El Dorado Springs, Mo., Thomas Couch, Kansas City, and James Couch, Rich Hill, Mo.; one other stepdaughter, Lou Palmer, Rich Hill; a brother, Edward Brendel, Kansas City; four grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.Cremation.Care Center, where she lived. She was the mother of Geraldine Newport of Independence.Her survivors also include one other daughter, Charlene Grace, Kansas City, Kan.; a son, CharlesC. Goodman, Kansas City; five grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Chapel, Kansas City. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City. Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
