PLATE GLASS window through which a deer crashed at the American Slovak Merchandising Store Saturday afternoon is bemg replaced by workmen. The doe plunger through the quarter-inch plate glass, severely cutting itself. The animal then ran amusk inside the store, leaping over a four-foot high meat display case. Three persons triedto hold the animal at various times but without j success. Finally the deer bolted down basement I steps of the store and wedged itself between a wall j and elevator. Patrolman Stanley Sadeski shot the | bleeding animal. Measuring the 16-inch by 120-inch | opening are William Russell, left, and Frank Bator. Russell Snyder, store clerk, is inside.
