Former Creston CoupleObserves AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Frank J. Berard, of Hennessey, Okla.. formerly of Creston celebrated their Golden Wedding last month at their home. About 150 relatives and friends called during the afternoon. Refreshments were served from a table decorated with flowers, featuring the gold color scheme, and a four-tiered wedding sake, topped with a golden “50 surrounded by miniature wedding bells.Mrs. Berard is the former Mary M. Kiesling, and was a native of Creston. being married to Mr. Berard in the home of her parents in Creston in February of 1900. They first made their home on a farm near Creston, but in 1903 moved to Hennessey, returning to Creston in 1906 and remaining here for the next 12 years, when they again returned to Oklahoma, where they have made their home ever since. They have three children, Mrs. Esther Mershon, of Oklahoma City; Elmer Berard, of Hennessey; and Ernest Berard, ofLacy, Okla.
