Annabelle HartzellMrs. Annabelle Hartzell, 55, of Cranberry RD 1, died early this morning at her residence.Born in Oil City Dec. 27, 1932, she was a daughter of Frank J. and Clarabelle Stevenson Sampsell.At one time, Mrs. Hartzell worked at Foster Forbes GlassPlant.She was a member of the Hill City United Methodist Church.She was married Feb. 13, 1952, to Harry E. Hartzell whosurvives.Also surviving are three sons, Mark and John Hartzell of Oil City and James Hartzell of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Marjorie Tobin of Oil City; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Archie Sampsell of Girard and Robert Sampsell of Corry; three sisters, Evelyn Lytle of Oil City, Dorothy White of Sugarcreek and Marian Carrier of Titusville.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lloyd and Charles Sampsell; and a sister, Betty Umstead.Friends will be received in the Morrison Funeral Home, Oil City, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.The time of services will be announced.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County or the American Cancer Society.
