Slay manAn open house recently marked the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Harry D. (Jean) Slayman Jr. of 318 2nd Ave. SE, Beach City.The celebration was hosted by their sons, Richard, John and William, all of the home. Their daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Michael Mueller, and their grandson, Shaun, reside in Mannheim, West Germany.The couple were married Feb. 10, 1962, in the United Brethren Church at Beach City by Rev. Dean Roush. Jean is a daughter of the late Paul and Rose Tondola and Harry’s parents are Nellie Slayman and the late Harry D. Slayman Sr.Mrs. Slayman is a member of Beach City Village Council, and Harry is a pipefitter for the Norfolk Western Railway at Beach City.
