ObituariesFuneral services for Bert Harrison Dennis, 53, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Hoy Thomas Funeral Home in Goliad. The Rev. James Slone of Memorial Baptist Church officiated and burial was in Gonzales.Mif. Dennis was born March 15,1909 in Colorado County, Texas. His parents were Isaac and Mary Hassie Varnum Dennis.His death occurred March 12 at 12:40 a.m.Survivors are his wife, Mrs.Bessi$ D. Dennis; one son, Lue-loiis H. tennis of La Grange, one step-daughter, Mrs. Mike Ara of Goliad; four brothers, Lester and Chester Dennis of Columbus, ; Woodrow of Dallas apd Alron Dennis of Baytown; ttyree7 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Login and Mrs. Willie Mangrum of €rdtt£.afes and Mrs. John Ward of Clute, Texas and five grandchildren.Morris Logan of Cuero is a nephew.*
