Innis99One OfYM(Jounders llei•DiesWarren Orland Innis, 95, ihr city's oldest resident and one of the founders of the Oil City YMCA,died at 5 a m, yesterday in the Oil City Hospital,100Mr Innis would have been years old on April 25.He was born April 25, 1856. in Millbury, Mass His parents were the late William ,1 and Helen Wilbur Innis.With his father, he went to the Petroleum Center district as a pioneer in 1865. He later moved to Oil City.Mr.Innis and his father organized the Innis Manufacturing Company which produced oil supplies and later the Innis Gas Engine.On October 6, 1876, Mr Innis was united in marriage to the former Miss Carrie Mrodhead Hiswife preceded him in death January 12, 1927.Mr. Innis also was interested in oil production, not only in this area but throughout the country. He drilled wells in Ohio. Indiana, Texas and other states during the early oil excitement days.At one time, the well known local resident served as vice president of Citizens Banking Company and also as director of that bank andOil City National.Mr. Innis. for a number of years was an active member of the .Second Presbyterian Church WhilePresbyterian Church, his health permitted, he held just about every office in the parish. Expenditures included $82 50 in pensions; $29.65 in expenses, and $152 in j refunds for a total expenditure of $264 15.Receipts included: City of OilCity contributions, $1,400. employes’ contributions, $2,119.17; Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. $6.395 80; interest, $2,583.31, andmiscellaneous, $1.
