Mike’s Tavern. 342 East Washington St., will be closed for 40 days because its liquor licensehas been suspended, effective Mar. 28.The Tavern is owned by Mike and Mary Manto who have been notified by the State Liquor Control Board of the suspension of their liquor license for “40 days and thereafter until there j is sufficient food and seating accomodations to meet the minimum requirements.”Charges against the tavernowners are permitting gambling, sales after hours, sales on Sunday after 2 a.m., not a bona I fide restaurant principally used to provide food for the public, Iin that there was an insufficient Iquantity of food and insufficient Ichairs and tables to accomodate Iat least 30 persons at one time; I disorderly operation, sales to I visibly intoxicated persons, per- I mitted dancing without an Iamusement permit, insufficient Iillumination, failed to keep a I record showing the method used I and date of each cleaning of I coils, tap rods and connections I used in the operation of draw- I ing malt or brewed beverages, I and failed, to have beer taps I properly labeled.
