James L. MichelsJames L. Michels, 87, of Albion, died at 11:10 a.m. Saturday,! March 10,2007 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Albion. ' • James was born, Aug. 8,1919 in Albion, the son of Frank and Harriett (Holt) Michels. He married Hulda Kleinschmidt on Aug. 25,1946, and she preceded him in death on May 1,1993. ;Mr. Michels was engaged in farming, and was a veteran c/i World War II. He was a Lifetime member of the Albion VFVfc and Mt. Zion Methodist Church.He is survived by one daughter, Diane, and her husband, DaU Peach of Albion; one brother, Rev. Francis (Earlene) MichelsJ two grandchildren, Jim (Jodi) Peach and Amy (Jason) McCarJ ty; and one great-grandchild, Tyler Peach. •.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and three; brothers, Vernon, Virgil and Allen Michels.Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 13, at 10 a.m. at! Ingram Funeral Home in Albion. Burial will be in the Mt. ZionJ Cemetery, Albion, with full military rites at the graveside, y Friends may call from 6*8 p.m. Monday, March 12, at Ingram!
