Wilson were recently complimented with a lovely open house at their residence in observance of their sixtieth wedding anniversary. Hostess on this occasion w a s Mrs. C. H. McClung, the former Doris Wilson, of St. Petersburg. Fla., who came especially for this event.The reception rooms were beautifully decorated with spring floral arrangements.Mrs. Wilson was orchid embroidered tume complemented pie cattleya orchid, her son-in-law, C. H. McClung. Other orchids grown by Mr. McClung enhanced the attire of those assisting with the courtesies. Mr. Wiilson had a white carnation boutonniere.PERSONALSMr. and Mrs. V. A. Liberto and children are spending the weekend in Houston, Te\., with relatives. There they will divide their time among Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sherman, Mr and Mrs. Michael Vernaci and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rcesby.wearing ansheer cos-with a pur-grown byThe refreshment table was laid with an imported cloth of white linen and lace. Centering the table was a five branched silver candelabra holding purple orchids and white tapers with the base circled with fresh orange blossoms brought from the hostess’ trees.The two- tiered anniversary cake was iced in white and green and topped with miniature wedding bells. The cake was served hv Mrs. W. L. Wilder. sister-in-law and lime sherbet punch was ladled by Mrs. A. R. Wilson of Meridian, another sister-in-law.Mr. and Mrs. Felton Walker Sr., were called to Collins this week on account of the death of his mother, Mrs. J. W. Walker. Death occurred Wednesday in Pascagoula, where she had been making her home with a daughter. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a. m. in Collins.VsiaithITOthers assisting were nieces and nephews of the honored couple. They included Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wilder of Ocean Springs; Mr. and Mrs. Stone Hancock and Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Ycatcs.Special guests were Mrs. Wilson’s brother. T. E. Wilder and Mrs. Wilder. Mrs. Wilder is also the sister of Mr. Wilson.Guests attended from Mobile, Ala . Ocean Springs. Slidell, La., Meridian and Panama City, Fla.
