Henry Hoed will hold open house, afternoon and evening, Saturday, March 19, at their home two miles north of Anita, in celebration of their 26th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Rocd was tho former Karen Jensen, daughter of the late Hans and Mm. Jensen, and was born on a farm near Kimballton. Henry Hoed is a son of the late Mr. and Mm. ChriB Roed and was born in Audubon county*The couple were married at the |lv Methodist parsonage in Atlantic ]8p March 19, 1924. They went to housekeeping on a farm east of Exira. In 1930 they purchased and moved to their present farm.Mr. and Mrs. Roed are members of the Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran church in Anita. They have four children: Kenneth, who farms near Anita; Margaret and Marvin at home, and Mrs. Helen Crees of Dcs Moines. They ulso have one grandchild.Mrs. Roed has four sisters and twp brothers; Mrs. Mildred Marde-sen, Marne; Mrs. Evelyn Wilson, Exira; Mrs. Dale Krough, Adair; Mrs. Russell Eden, Anita; Gunnar Jensen, Lake Charles, and Kd Jensen, Kimballton.
