Rufer, 507 22nd St., will observe their 25th wedding anniversary March 14 and will celebrate the event with a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. March 20 at Turner Hall in Monroe. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No formal invitations are being sent. Lloyd Rufer and Marian Rackow Phillips weremarried March 14,1951, in St. John’s United Church of Christby the late Rev. Paul Kehle. Their attendants were their sister and brother, Miss Betty Rackowr and Harold Rufer. They have five children, two sons, Jerry Phillips, and Dale Rufer, Monroe, and three daughters, LaVonne Phillips, Madison; Debra Rufer, Monroe, and Mrs. Sandy Veer, Freeport, 111 They have six grandchildren.
