PLEASANT METHODIST CHURCHThe Tragic Loss of the Second Place Winner will be the topic of the sermon for the Sunday morning Communion service at Mt, Pleasant United Methodist Church, Rippy road.At 3:30 p.m. A Christian debutante ceremony will take place in which seven young ladies and three young men will be con* firmed and accepted into full membership Into the church. The 16-year-old debutantes are Misses Rozetta Stewart, Joyce Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Charlotte Caldwell, A)fre-da Horne, Phyllis Thco* dore and Babra Butler, The young men are Merlon Hines, Terry Fairley and Philip Theodore.Youth choirs from several churches in Gulfport are expected to participate in the ceremony. The minister is the Rev. Harry C. Tartt.
