Animal Sounds Like Crying ChildA mysterious animal which makes noises “like a crying child” was reported today by Mrs. Rosie Broviak of RFD 1, Ashley, in western Jefferson county.She said the animal has been heard for some time in that neighborhood and* that she has seen the animal several times during the past year.It has the appearance of a large cat and apparently has been roaming wild for some time, she said. The animal has carried away several chickens from the Broviak home, she reported.Mrs. Broviak reported the incident, with the suggestion that it ( or a similar animal might have i made the crying child” sounds i in north Mt. Vernon last Satur- f day night when police and fire- t men searched the area and found nothing. '
