DIED.On Tuesday last Zack Raines, son of Reuben Raines, lost his wife. We have been unable to gather particulars ol this death, her physician, Dr. S« M. Yancey, being detaiued in Harrisonburg on the Wood trial. Mrs. Raines was buried on Wednesday last.- Zack Raines is a hardworking, industrious young man, and has the sympathy of the neighborhood in his affliction. His wife was a daughter of John Crawford, lately deceased.Mrs. Gerard T. Hopkins was buried in McGabeysville on Friday last. She was the sister of the late Mr, George Kisling, and the mother of Mrs. Dr* Layton Yancey, E. B. Hopkins, proprietor of Hopkins’ Massanutta Springs, and of Luther Hopkins. We tender our condolences to the bereaved family.*J. M. C. Harnsberger will go to Richmond one day this week to have his eyes operated upon for cataract. Dr. White will perform the operation. We hope it will prove successful.Wynbham.
