Linstead. March 2.—The sad news of the death of Mrs. Ariadne March in Kingston reached here during the earlier part of the day on Wednesday last, and cast quite a gloom over the entire township.Mrs. March who with her husband was in charge of the Wesleyan Bchool here, spent the earlier and greater portion of her life in this town, and was respected in all circles. She was one of the oldest leaders of the Wesleyan church here and although she had resided in the city a few years ago, attended every function, special service and nearly all the monthly celebrations of the church here.The body of the deceased ladywas brought over for interment, and the funeral was very largely attended •The funeral service which took place in the church was rather impressive, and was conducted by the Cresser, and the Rev .L. M. Bev-Cressor, and the Rev. L. M. Bev-as aor tne deceased lady s Ijfe _Christian and devoted worker of the church, and after the singing of the hymn “Now the labourer’s task is o'er’' was sung, the lid of the coffin was taken off and the congregation took leave of the departed lady.Mr. R.
