The crowd gathered around waiting to gain admission, wlioti suddenly the door was thrown open and Wilhelm appeared in an abbreviated costume and fire da revolver at the crowd. The hull from the weapon took effect in the leg of Adam Lehrer, striking him between the thigh and kuee, pacing entirely through the fleshy part of his limb and tailing down the leg of his pants into his boot. He now has the ballet in his possession. Lehrer was taken home by his companions. As yet no legal action has 1 een commenced against Wilhelm.^ a. ---
