I^eonnrd, and ftituated a Unit three mite* from this city, on the Little Valley road, the beautiful and impressive ceremony of marriage of l hrist's formed Episcopal church whs performed by Iter. M. T. McCormick, the contracting parlies being Mr. Louis F. Darnell, of Cleveland, Ohio, son of Mr T. L. Darnell, of this city, and Miss Itelle ( Long, step daughter, of Mr. Ijeonard.Both the young |«eople are well known in Cumberland, Mr. Darnell at ouc time having turn engaged m the pin tographing business with lii father, while Miss Long, a beaut.ful ami attractive young lady, is well known throughout the county as a teacher In the public schools. The choir of the Reformed Episcopal churrh. to which she belonged, will miss an excellent member, a well as the congregation, who have listened attentively to her sweet voice for a NM time past.After the ceremony an elaltorate wedding break'east was partaken of, after which the bridal party, accompanied by their friends, drove to this city in hacks, and look the noon train for Washington Many hand-ome presents were received by the bride testifying. as above stated.to her popularity. Mr. Carter Evans and wife, «lt;f Pittsburg, were present at the w-dding.
